I love my job as an Osteopath and I love my working here on the beautiful Waiheke Island

I’ve always been drawn to helping people find health. After studying a BA in Psychology at Otago University, I travelled, studied massage and realised I wanted to learn more about how to heal the body. Having had great results with osteopathy as an injury-prone teenager, I went to study Osteopathy in Melbourne.

After graduation in 2019, I returned to NZ with my partner to start a family and my career in Osteopathy on Waiheke Island, where I have worked for the past 3 years.

My job as an osteopath is to work with the body to facilitate the natural healing process. I often use gentle techniques which bring balance and ease to the tissues of the body and activate the autonomic nervous system to promote healing. I’m also confident in using more direct and firm structural techniques and will apply these when needed. The type of injury and preference of a patient will dictate the techniques used and how the session unravels.
